Dubravka Gilic

Dubravka Gilic, AICP, is a Manager of Strategic Planning for the New Orleans Office of Recovery Management. Her primary duties are development of the Target Areas recovery strategies and programs, coordination of the Target Area and the city-wide planning efforts, and monitoring of the implementation and progress of recovery. She advises on land use, zoning and urban design matters in the context of recovery projects. She oversees data collection, mapping and the GIS support functions for the office.

Prior to her move to the Office of Recovery, Gilic was a Planning Administrator with the New Orleans City Planning Commission directing work of the Comprehensive Planning Section. She oversaw development of the City’s Master Plan and directed a wide range of planning, zoning and neighborhood studies including the Riverfront Vision 2005 Plan, the 2004 Transportation Plan, the Frenchmen Street Arts and Cultural District, revision to Subdivision Regulations, Citizen Participation Program, and managed Coastal Zone Management Grant for the City. She worked on many post-Katrina planning efforts including the Housing Subcommittee of Mayor Nagin’s Bring New Orleans Back Commission and on the scope of the UNOP city-wide and neighborhood plans. She holds a M.S. degree in Urban Planning and a B.S. in Architecture and Urban Planning. Ms. Gilic is a member of the National and Louisiana chapters of the American Planning Association (APA) and the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
