JESSIE SMALLWOOD 
Deputy Director for Recovery Management  Jessie Smallwood, MPH, MPC, has forty years of public administration leadership. Her wide experience includes city and state positions in health, housing and education arenas. She served as Assistant Superintendent for the Louisiana Department of Education and as Executive Director of the Health Systems Agency in New Orleans and the Housing Authority of New Orleans. Additionally, since 1986 she has owned and operated several small businesses.
